KC Regional Quilt Festival

And it’s already the middle of June. This one snuck up on me, I have been so used to not going to quilt shows I forgot this was happening until just a week ahead of time.  And of course, a lot of events have been cancelled, so I wasn’t thinking about it much.

Went by myself this year.  Just seemed like the right option this time.  I could set my own schedule, come and go as I wanted, and keep my own pace.   I chose to go on Friday, not the first day, but not Saturday either.  It was a good day.  Not too crowded, but definitely a busy show.

I looked at everything. Every. Thing.  By the end my head was a whirl of color and ideas, most of which left my brain as I walked out the door.  Here is the pile of swag.

Not shown, I bought a new Accuquilt die, Hattie’s Choice.  I got the show special price and discount on other items in the booth, which is how I got the Winter White charm squares.  They are not actually white, but an assortment of fall and winter colors that will be perfect for a project I have planned.

The cotton “hand knit” socks I loved so much from last time so I had to get a 2nd pair.  They are so comfortable and warm in winter.  Also shown, a selection of Kaffe Fasset fat quarters for yet another unspecified project, and some cute cat fabrics, because cats!

Looking forward to more quilt shows this fall.
