About 25 years ago I made a black and white quilt for one of my housemates. I collected up a lot of black prints and solids, and had a fair number of scraps and leftovers. Inspired by the recent trips to quilt shows I dug out all my leftover triangles and started sewing them onto muslin and white fabrics from my stash. I think I can do something with this.
I added in some black and navy scraps I bought at a quilt guild sale last year. Then went through my stash, took a look at Joann’s remnant bin and came up with these:
I might be able to get a good sized quilt top out of it all:
My plan is to make something for the Veteran’s Community Project, which is building Tiny Homes for local area veterans. I’ll be working through a local quilt guild to get the quilt finished and delivered.
