Spent much of the week working on the new Christmas blocks. I decided to start with a few easy ones, using the new fabric and incorporating smaller pieces of my old fabrics.

And my personal favorite,

 Poinsettia

This one was the most difficult, not because of the trapezoid blocks, but because I had to find scraps of fabric large enough to get 8 pieces cut for the center and each set of leaves.  I went through a dozen or more combinations before settling for this one.  I’m really happy with how it came out.
