It feels like I have been working on this quilt forever. I started it over a year ago thinking it would go quickly, since there wasn’t a lot of complicated piecing. Well, it turns out there was a lot of piecing anyway.
Here is the first row of stars and the first row of sashing. The pattern calls for 6″ stars at the intersection of the sashing lines, but I could not face another week of cutting tiny pieces and another week of sewing them. Since I had dark blue fabric left I chose to makes squares instead.
If I can assemble a row or two every day, This will be done for New Year’s.
