I didn’t mean to go to Joann’s today but you know how it is, you have a little time and decide to just go “look”.  I was doing pretty good until I got to the remnant bin.  The remnant bin was full of lovely things.  I could’t resist these two pieces.

The blue green one is rayon and has a silky feel to it. Drapes wonderfully.  The red one is cotton, really light and soft.  Either piece could be a scarf, or become part of a costume, so they had to go into the stash.

 

 

Someone must have been planning for christmas because there was a whole bunch of green cotton there, too.  I can always use good greens and a bunch of them fell into my cart.  Not sure yet what they will become:

 

There was also a nice brown print and a cute kid’s print I can use in my donation quilts.  Oh,and did I mention everything was half price?
