Rainbow Shuffle

I haven’t finished my other projects, but I’m already thinking of the next one.  Or at least, one of my other unfinished projects.

This is a cute little spools quilt I started as part of a block exchange. Sadly, I only swapped 7 blocks before the group quit exchanging, and I made a bunch more out of my own scraps.  The instructions we used is called Spool Shuffle.

I pulled the bag out today to see where I had left it and how much more work needs to be done.

I have a total of 18 constructed blocks, and 11 more in various stages of progress.  With a little effort I can finish this to a wallhanging size.

Meanwhile, I have not been completely ignoring other projects.  The last blocks in the blue scrap quilt have been assembled and sewn into panels.  Here is a shot of parts 4 and 5 on the ironing board.  It looks better at a distance. 🙂
